台北行 - From Changi to 桃園

Budget Terminal, Changi.

Extremely hot day and the kids were hyperactive. By the time we managed to drag them to the airport, we were already exhausted. We had question marks all over our head, thinking how are we going to survive our 6 days in 台北 with them!
Resorted to Hi 5 on the iphone to calm them down, especially our restless boy.
 On good terms for now.
Finally, he is showing signs of fatique.
 Sarah still going strong.
Still siamese twins, joined together at the head, even when on the plane.
A relieved mummy enjoying a moment of peace.
After a torturous 4.5 hours flight, where Archie screamed, cried, wriggled and turned for most part of the journey, we made it to 桃園國際機場。
We hopped on the first cab we could find and made our way to 東吳大飯店, along 延平北路二段.

Our first meal in 台北,台北著名的街邊小食。

A every enjoyable meal bought from the street side stalls within the vicinity of the hotel, even more enjoyable when the kids were in slumberland.
I ordered for a small portion of fermented beancurd 臭豆腐 and he gave me two boxes full as he was packing up and all ready to go home. In the end, had to persuade me to give me only 1 box!
Oyster Omelette 蚵仔煎. This is the best that we had savoured throughout our 6 day stay in 台北。
Pork Ribs in Herbal Soup. 藥燉排骨。贊!
Rice Vermicelli with Intestine! 大腸麵線
A sinful way to end our first night in 台北。5 more days to go only!
