Going out with the Aunties

Went out with Aunt Jen, Hilda & Mummy to Bugis to scout for christmas presents for everyone.

The leader of the pack, Sarah Yau.
Very independent, at times.
She found a Stitch Temple, with 1 giant Stitch on the pedestal.
Inside the temple, there were many soft toys!
and food as well!

A close shave

Archie's first trip to the salon!

We decided to shave his hair off as he is looking messy and sweaty these days.

From the looks of it, I don't think he enjoyed the process.
眼泛泪光。 He cried almost throughout the whole shaving process, poor boy.
New improved! Better aerodynamics! He has great head shape, all thanks to the hard work of Mama!

Good Tree Hunting

The whole family was activated on Sunday to hunt for our family christmas tree.

Sarah was all dolled up and ready to go!
Spoilt for choices, too many different types of trees on the market these days. There are the 'original' ones, the fibre optic ones, the revolving ones, white ones, green ones....and it goes on.
Even Santa has a price, the power of money.
The sea of accessories to choose from.
Archie liked this tree with blue lights, he could not take his eyes off it.
In the end we settled for the old fashion type of trees where we put up our own lights and hang the accessories.

All Souls' Day 2010

Joined Grant Aunt Catherine and family to pay respect to the ancestors on All Soul's Day. It's their family tradition and we are joining for the first time.

Archie boy looks puzzled as we made our way through the cemetery .
Paying respect to the great great grand parents.
Sarah paying her respect.
We stopped by 婆婆's grave and Sarah offered flowers to her.

She gave 婆婆 a tummy hug
and a kiss as well!
Archie boy being the gentleman by helping to carry the brolly.
After making we paid respects to all the ancestors at CCK cemetery, we went to ,Sarah's favourite restaurant. McDonalds for lunch.

Archie got excited when he saw Sarah sitting so close to him during lunch. Usually, at our house, they sit at opposite end of the table during meals.
Getting cheeky. Sarah could not be bothered, she was in the "can't talk, must eat nugget" mode.
Still trying to get Sarah's attention.
He is such a happy boy whenever he sees Sarah.
Since he was so active, 姨姨 brought him to aside for table exercise.
Enjoying 姨姨 time.
Seems like only Grand Aunt knows how to handle him,
he felt asleep in her arms within minutes.
Mean while, Uncle Brian was playing with Sarah. The naughty girl ended up pulling his fringe.
Then she offered to tie his hair!
Despite being 'bullied' by Sarah, Uncle Brian still accompanied her to the playground.

The two of them became good friends.
