阿贝 at 10 weeks

this is the first blog entry dedicated to 阿贝 (ah bei).

阿贝 is currently ten weeks old. today's scan has shown that 阿贝 has grown to 30.5mm. Dr Fong seems to be very satfisfied with the growth since the last visit. 阿贝 hands have been formed as can be seen from the scan.

the term 阿贝 is coined by none other than the creative mama. as sarah is known as 阿宝 (ah bao),she and 阿贝 will combine to become the dynamic 宝贝 (bao bei) duo.

fidget

went to fidget to burn the energy off sarah, she was up the whole afternoon and didnt look remotely tired.

we were both looking haggard and tired, but look at her, marching happily towards her destination.

mama said sarah's hairstyle reminded of her the chinese calligraphy brush.

she didnt really like playing in the car, anyway she was too short and could only paddle in reverse direction.

breakfast at red star

we held our post national day celebration at red star, the tim sum relic of singapore. despite it being a rainy monday morning, the crowd was still there. sarah wasnt in the best of mood, that was until she was being introduced to mr char siew bao.

Jurong Bird Park

our family made a visit to the jurong bird park on national day. i have not been there since primary school days, which means its over 20 years! geezz..i am so OLD.

patriotic mama made us all wore red to celebrate the nation's 44 birthday. as she did not have a red top, she went to buy one just for the occasion!

the minute sarah, stepped into the compound, someone shouted at her 'Sarah! What are you doing here?'. yes! she is that famous, instantly recognisable everywhere. turns out that the person who recognised her was none other than her care giver, but sarah behaved like she had never seen her care giver in her life before, poker faced.

and so we ventured into the park, praying that no droppings would befall on our silky hair!

a friendly staff took this family portrait for us.

sarah reluctantly poses for a photo with her old man.

see what papa pulled out from the basket! one little sarah!
enter the expert bird tamer, mr yau

we enjoyed the trip, especially the last part where we got to feed the birds. but the haze and the humid weather was a real dampener, as a result the family had to spend the next day recuperating at home.
