i like to move it, move it!

Motorskills development at close to 6 months old

This is what she likes to do, when she gets back from school. practicing how to move forward until she is too tired and falls asleep.

Photobucket

she is on the verge of being able to crawl. she is able to enage in reverse gear on certain occasions. lately, she is strong enough to push her upper body up and only resting on her palms and knees, and sometimes manages to pounce forward a bound or two.

a dip in the tub

she is enjoying her daily dip in the tub more and more. always smiling and kicking happily whenever mummy bathe her.

took a pic for sarah and daddy one morning before heading to work. liked the picture wtih sarah's just awaken look and requested daddy to take a picture for me too.

here it is... so awful. sarah turned away. was so sad. then daddy said "my picture with sarah is nice, cause she smile at you!" wahhahaa... i felt better instantly.

tried one more time... a much better picture. a happy mummy too!

Yawns........ ZzzZZZzzzZZZzzz.........

look at the tired daddy not (not play acting, its a REAL, HUGE yawn). so tired cause we are simply not used to having sarah wake up in the middle of the night. sarah sleeps through the night since she was 2 months old or even younger than that. of late, she sleeps by 9pm till 7am (+/-). that morning, she gave a sudden cry for her milk. we did not hear her cries at first. she started kicking mummy's back non stop but mummy just could not get up. thankfully daddy managed to pick himself up and fed her. somehow, mummy managed to wake up ultimately to take pictures. haha....

the sleepish gal and her milk

satisfied....
manged to get another hour or 2 of sleep before preparing for work.
we are sooooooo blessed!!! ; )

Sarah goes to cheeky chocolate

two days ago, the family decided to take a leisurely evening stroll to check out neighbourhood organic food shop. needless to say its to check out the princess's stuffs. on the way back, we popped in a recently opened dessert shop for a maple syrup waffle with chocolate scoop..yum yum.

Puree Time

We have started sarah on puree since 4 weeks back to prepare her for more solid food. so far we have experimented with carrots, potatoes , avocado & sweet potatoes. her favourite at the moment is the carrots. wonder if eating too much carrots, has anything to do with her carrot top hairstyle? she is turning six months old in 2 weeks, time flies!

glad to see she that she is very receptive towards her new diet so far. she is one baby that enjoys eating.

The penguin sisters

brought sarah to visit her great grand ma yesterday.

we decided to let her wear the penguin print halter neck for the first time!

upon stepping into great grandma's kitchen, we saw 'someone' wearing the same outfit as sarah, there she was, sitting nonchalantly in a dark corner of the kitchen. as we stepped nearer to confront the copy cat, we realised....

that she is the kitchen rubbish bin. naturally sarah wasnt very happy, as you can see in the above picture, she was stomping on the head of the rubbish bin.

but after her anger subsided, she became good friend with the bin and decided to sit on her good friend's head instead.

moral of the story, check out your rubbish bin before buying clothes for your kid.
