Elephant Parade

While on a mission for Christmas Tree Hunting, Sarah & Ma came upon the elephant parade outside Tangs.

Mama made a donation and she got to draw on her personal elephant.

She is really good with the brush these days.

She enjoyed painting, as always.

Not her favourite segment, air drying the paint.

But she did well.

All Soul's Day

We met up with our relatives for All Soul's day to go visit our departed ones.

First stop, Bright Hill, to visit Chor Chor. While waiting for grand auntie Catherine and family, the kids were admiring the koi in the pond. They had their identical sibling board shorts on.

Ma joined in.

After paying respect to Chor Chor, we proceeded to Choa Chu Kang Christian Cemetery.

We brought flowers for them and cleared away the withered ones.

Besides the orchid, there was a bouquet of roses for her as well.

Then we went to visit all our ancestors who were resting in the same cemetery. The boys, Brendan & Brian had a tough morning, they were clearing all the weeds under the scorching sun. They do this every year without fail.

After lunch at Mac, we went over to grand aunt Catherine's house. Archie was tired but he could not sleep.

So he went out to the hall to play with their rabbits.

Dora - Three Kings Day

Brought the kids to Raffles City to catch their idol, Dora & Diego.

She liked the show so much that when it ended, she cried. So we promised her the next scheduled show, which was another 3 hours later!

In order to kill time, we went to chill out at Ben & Jerry's.

Round 2 starts, Pa went to queue early, so we managed to grab the front row spots.
