sarah goes to the zoo

the family was invited to the zoo by the wongs, we managed to get in free using mr wong's corporate pass.

its was a hot day, which is the norm of late, luckily for us though, the skies opened up for a while and made the trip more enjoyable.

it took sarah a while before she realised the presence of the animals around her, she was visibly excited whenever she saw the bigger animals.












we took about 4 hours to complete the zoo, all of us were aching by then. too bad she is still too young to enjoy the aqua playground. we have decided to bring her again when she is three, she should be able to enjoy the zoo more by then!

Gone gallivanting

brought sarah for her first visit to cck cemetery to visit grandma, after which we popped by united square to try to find a float for her. wanted to get her those arm float, in the end we bought her a vest float. thought of bring her for a swim today to try out the new vest, but she woke up feeling a bit under the weather. so i guess we just have to wait till she gets better!







she got to enjoy her first joy ride, just came into mama flo's mind when we walked past it after visiting the supermarket, so we popped in a dollar and put her in. she got a bit startled by the vibrating at first, but soon she learned to enjoy the motion!

First trip to the pool

brought sarah to her first swimming trip at the amk pool. the weather was wonderful, sunny but not scorching. she was very excited the minute we dippped her feet into the pool, kicking away happily!

after 2 days and countless attempts, we finally managed to snap a photo of sarah looking straight into the camera. normally she would gladly look at the camera when we are taking photos of her, but when we get her to sit up straight, she just couldnt stay still, constantly wriggling away like a worm.

the first day, we took her to the photo lab, but she was grouchy after 4-5 shots and started to cry, somehow, flo ended up shooting with the camera instead of the photographer! haha! it was getting close to her bedtime so we gave up and decided to DIY the next day instead.

today we sat her down in the living room, had to sing song to her, made hand gesture, called out her name, played her favourite barney, fed her food, and took many many shots. finally we got 1!

pigging out at tonkichi

went kitchenware shopping at takashimaya, out of randomness we picked tonkichi as the venue for our dinner.

there wasnt much of a crowd when we reached tonkichi and we got a table immediately. sarah was seated on a cute bright yellow baby chair, and started demanding for her dinner!

sarah goes to jurong hill

or rather attempts to go to jurong hill as she fell asleep on the way there. sarah likes to sit up straight and grab the handle bar by the sides whenever i am driving, i think she enjoys the view and ever changing scenery. however she can get pretty stubborn, flo noticed that she was nodding off while sitting and straight, so she decided to change sarah to a more comfortable position for sleeping, instead sarah protested loudly and insisted on sitting up straight. but five minutes later, she couldnt take it and succumbed to the sleeping bug.

pool time

its been a while since we made use of sarah's inflatable pool, the reasons being the unkind weather and her falling sick as well. today with the weather being so hot and humid despite the afternoon showers, we decided to let her have a dip in her pool for only the 3rd time!


her swim wear, which was wore only once before, has already being outgrown, as a result she had to go skinny dipping.

as usual, the dogs got excited whenever the pool is up and floating with toys and balls.
