Family Visiting

Mama brought the kids out on sat to visit the relatives and to allow Sarah to help the relatives burn off their excessive calories.

Archie looking serious as usual, in his rocker while Mama was preparing the stuffs.

Helpful Sarah looking after her baby brother while being glued to the TV.

First stop was to Membina to visit the aunties. Sarah had a 'present' surprise, her birthday presents lied waiting in the living room. She was so thrilled just by tearing away the wrappers.

Aunt Jen gave Sarah lots of toys, the one she is holding in the photo is a supermarket trolley.

She went on to tear the wrappers away from the rest of her toys.

The second toy that Aunt Jen gave her was a box of building blocks. Besides the toys, she received a dress from Great Aunt Margaret.

After bidding farewell to Grand Aunt, Mama & Aunt Jen brought the kiddos on a MRT ride to eastern part of Singapore to pay a visit to Grand Aunt Polly!

Mama was very proud that Sarah behaved herself throughout the train ride, sitting 'demurely' instead of climbing up every pole in the train.

More presents awaited her over at Tampines, the ever doting Grand Aunt Polly showered Sarah with gifts , from sticker books to dress.

A wise choice of present as it managed to occupy her for a short while.

She was very proud of her sticker pasting skills.

Grand Aunt Polly and Grand Uncle Patrick were very excited to host the kids, especially Sarah, who ran rings around them the whole afternoon.

They brought out everything just to entertain Sarah, even the bongo!

Mean while, Archie was sleeping alone in the middle of the living room, oblivious to the tribal beats.

After the bongo, Sarah was strumming the guitar.

On seeing that poor Archie was sleeping alone, Aunt Hilda went to accompany Arch.

After her music jamming session, she was still full of energy, wanted to climb all over the house.

The only way to slow her down was to give her food! She got her her taste of cottage cheese, look at her priceless expression!

On the way home, she managed to take a power nap. The short 20 mins nap was sufficient for her to fully recharge her batteries. She was up to her mischief the minute we got home.

Vesak Day 2010

Brought  Sarah to have some outdoor fun under the sun today. We have not brought her out for a while, so we decided to make full use of the Vesak Day Holiday.

We went to the Pasir Ris park to look at the horses and let her have fun at it's enormous playground.

We wanted to bring the dogs as well, but due to some accident, clubbie's strap broke so both doggies stayed home instead.

A wonderful morning to stroll in the park, the sun was shy, hiding behind the clouds.

They had some cute looking ponies there.

A brave Caucasian boy who went for a pony ride. We decided not to let Sarah try, after the donkey ride incident in Colmar.

There wasn't much activities going on at the stable, no feeding session yet. So we left for the playground after a short stay.

As she is approaching two, she is getting more independent, she is now able to slide down on her own.

She had a lot of fun running up and down the playground.

Hanging out with the pigeons.

Sunday morning at the botanic gardens.

Woke up very very early today, at 6 plus in the morning. Thanks to our alarm clock, Sarah Yau. As we had so much time to kill, mama suggested going to the botanic gardens to play with the pigeons. So off we went.

Sarah was thrilled to be surrounded by the sea of pigeons.

She was so happy with the company of the pigeons, she started prancing around.

The reason behind her popularity with the birds, her bread. She started gobbling down the remaining bread after we left the garden.

We popped by Membina to pay a visit to Aunt & Great Aunt. Archie gave this funny look when we put him down on the mattress.

He has that perpetual frown on his forehead, he has so much worries just by drinking milk every day.

Sarah wasn't frowning, cos she got to eat pizza.

Archie at 10 weeks

Some shots of Archie at 10 weeks old. Time flies, he is going into infant care tomorrow! Mama will sure miss him.

He is smiling more now and is able to recognise Mama's voice.

His first bad habit, putting his fist into his mouth as a pacifier.

As we put him to sleep on his tummy, his neck muscle is pretty strong. He is able to lift his head up for quite a while.
This photos were added later on, as chief editor complained that there were too little photos of Arch.

A very big yawn, he does not like to sleep much. He is always kicking around, but luckily he sleeps soundly through the night.

Mama adores his boyish looks.

My purple canvas shoes

She is so happy wearing her current favourite pair of shoes, a pair of purple old navy canvas. She loves it so much that 5 minutes after taking off her shoes upon reaching home, she wants to wear them to go out again!

She loves pouting, when she is talking, singing, angry, shy....she just loves pouting.

Mother Teresa.

It's been a while. Really tied down with our big project but we are nearing completion!

Here is Sarah with her Mother Teresa's look, taken three weeks back.
