Having played with Mama's shoes yesterday, it's Papa's boots today.
Guess where are we headed?
After taking picture with the miniature one at Small World, we decided to visit the real McCoy.
The 6 days tour of Taipei has been very tiring for our little boy.
We went back to 西門町, to visit this restaurant that we missed out on our previous visit, Modern Toilet Cafe.
Inside the restaurant, first thing that Sarah did was to visit the actual toilet. Cool stepper flushing system, free your hands from contact!
Washing hand in a toilet bowl-basin.
Waiting for the food to be served, Sarah has already started on her appetizers.
Look at her, wolfing down her food. 沒有形象!
Pa sitting alone, speaks volume about his popularity! 人氣下滑!
Yes, we are sitting on toilet bowls. Oh well, she is squatting on the toilet bowl, very inconsiderate!
Wash basins as footings for the glass table top.
Sarah & Pa.
Pa's lunch, looks yummy isn't it. Shabu in a toilet bowl.
Taste much better than I expected.
He looks like he could not wait to eat!
Now for his drink, straight from the urinal!
Apparently, no enough to quench his thirst, hence a second helping.
Nice?
Nice too?
A better look lunch, 比較像樣,meat balls spaghetti for Sarah.
Mama's turn, with an astonished Archie in the background.
Finger food.
Pa over ordered, look at this size of the ice cream / shaved ice, coming in a filled up squat toilet!
The generous host still threw in a free ice cream for the kids!
Sarah's lucky day.
No high chair in this restaurant, so the poor boy remained stuck in his pram throughout the meal.
Pa : “還要吃幾口才能把它吃完呢?” "How many more spoons do I need to dig in, to finish this monster?"
Ms Yau.
The two of them playing happily amongst themselves.
Daddy's girl.
We did not managed to finish the food, not even half of it, much to the horror of the 店長, restaurant manager. She rushed out to ask us if there is even thing wrong with their food, and anything they could do for us. Now that's service!
After our lunch, we went diaper hunting, we had underestimate the usage and was running low, trying to find diapers in 西門町 was impossible. After trying a few places, we gave up and took a cab back to the hotel so that the kids could take a nap.
She started kissing all over his face in the cab.
She adores Archie.
In the end, we found diapers at a supermarket near the hotel.
After the nap, we left for 士林夜市 again. Ma bought something there the other night, and wanted some more.
We went early again, so that we are able to secure seats and space for the prams.
Drumming with their chopsticks while waiting for dinner.
We succumbed to 豪大!
The queue was half the normal length, so we quickly squeezed ourselves in.
Not yet! Just the plastic bag only!
Finally.
The package is in the bag. Verdict, very big juicy and nice. But I would not join the long queue for it again.
This is what we came for. Hot shorts! Ma was satisfied with her previous purchase, today we are back to buy in wholesale quantity.
Ma "I want this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this only"
Took a stroll down the street.
He was cranky and wailing by the side of the road, then he stopped immediately when this girl came to him. Trying to be macho to impress her!
Heading to our final destination, 西門紅樓, to spend our remaining 新台幣。
Chirpy for now
We reached our destination.
Sarah was bored and started playing with the camera.
Quite an arty shot from her, of us.
We managed to spent almost all our money, leaving some for our final day. The merchandise made by those creative local designers were so irresistible!
Back at the hotel, his diaper was overloaded, it was sagging!
Since it was the last night, we let them play all they want, till the last drop of their energy is expanded.
Their favourite play area in the room, finding each other behind the curtains.
Then they started playing with the paper carriers and running after each other.
She lugged all the paper carriers and said she was an old lady, 老太太。
He was serving his solitary confinement for being naughty, playing with the toilet door and inside the toilet despite numerous verbal warnings.
A final look at our buys in Taipei. Finally they slept, our final night in Taipei.
