Last day of 2010

On the last day of the year, we celebrated the turn of the year, with some old friends at OCC.

The uncles took good care of our kids, even brought them to swim.

As it is now the term break for her swimming class, Papa gave Sarah some refresher on her kicking technique, still plenty of rooms for improvement, but she is getting there.

 YS really has lots of patience and love for kids, he spent the entire time in the pool with Archie.

 Meanwhile, Sarah was having fun at  the slide with Uncle Vernon.

The convoy

Our daily evening routinue, setting up a convoy of tricycle and pram. Mission - to patrol the playgrounds of the neighbourhood, making sure they are fun to play with.

Boxing day dinner at Brian's

Brian invited us to his place for dinner on Boxing day.

He & Sarah dining at their kids only table.

After dinner, the kids were playing with the mountain of toys that Brian has. Sarah found a toy stethoscope and played doctor on Archie!

Papa found a 母子椅 lying around, he excitedly put Archie in it, who found it fun to be sitting inside.

That's Archie's present from Brian, an oversized Thomas. He loved it so much that he could not stop drooling over it.

Inside it was a lovely set of clothes, seems that he likes it.

Liked it so much that he had to eat it.

After opening their presents, it's back to playing Brian's extensive network for Thomas trains.

Archie stealthily sneaked up to 姑姑 and refused to move after he got his first taste of ice cream.

He is really enjoying it.

Boxing Day Morning 2010

Boxing day morning, Sarah was still excited about the cutlery set, that she received from Grandpa Richard on Christmas night.

The kids then moved on to play with the toys that received for Christmas from everyone that loves them.

These days, Archie is interested in whatever Sarah is playing.

 Sarah was rather annoyed with her brother for barging in.

 The moment she had been waiting for, the opportunity to use her cutlery.

 After breakfast, it was time for some doodling.

She does not have a drawing table yet, we are planning to get one soon.

Christmas with Grand Papa Richard!

The kids got to meet their 外公 on christmas night, as the Kwan family was having a gathering at grand uncle Choon Tuck's home in Tampines.

The last time we saw Grandpa was at the bowling alley!

Archie clicked with Grandpa immediately and was being carried by him most of the time. Sarah, being older and more shy, took a while to warm up to him.

He even took Archie out for a walk.

Sarah gave Grandpa a hug in exchange for her christmas present.

Her favourite christmas present, a set of colourful ikea cutlery, she is so passionate about food that she is even excited about things related to food!

Archie received presents as well, he even went forward to collect his own present! How independent.

After Sarah was done with unwrapping all her + Archie's present, the kids sat with Grandpa on the couch to play. It's nice to see them bond.
