After the jetty jump, we went back to our hut to relax for a while, nice view from the balcony, with the occasional fishing boats making their way across the Riau islands.
Ma enjoying the view on the balcony too.A large cosy hut built out of drift wood.
We popped by Yogi's shack to pay him a visit, but he was off island today! Only his sister was around, nonetheless the kids joined in and had fun doing craft work.
They made friends quickly.
This Italian boy was very sweet and he made a friendship band for Sarah.
Behind Yogi's shack was a big tree house and a playground that was built by him and his friends.
Sarah, the adventurer, exploring every inch of the ground.
A backyard pirate ship, how cool is that?
Two new recruits manning the deck.
Ma got a friendship band too, she's part of the gang.
The flying
Archie and Sarah looking game for it, was he really game for it? We will find out in the coming days!
We went to hit the bar before dinner! Archie found his favourite spot on the island, but he is not here for the beer, but the free flow of cookies!
Treasure hunt time!
All the kids on the island, stopped whatever they were doing and rushed to gather in front of the bar, for its treasure hunt time!
Pity the gardener, there goes his landscaping. They searched high and low.
Thanks to Jordan, the game master, Sarah found a clue, judging by her looks, she couldn't believe it too!
She was quickly swarmed by envious, over zealous kids demanding her to read out the contents of the clue asap! A highly stressful game! The clues would eventually lead them back to the bar, where they would all share the treasure box of candies and chocolates!
It was so disorderly, so in the end, it was rationed!
After the mad crowd dispersed, we hung around for a game of Jenga.
Archie with his cookie and his new best friend, Jordan, who had to rush to the kitchen for fresh cookie after Archie had emptied his jar.
Hang-over from overdose of cookie?
Enjoying the mellow evening sun and warm breeze at beautiful beach.
Sarah was busy looking out for sea shells as presents for her friends.
Pa vs Sarah for Beach Volleyball.
An evenly-match contest!
Too close to call.
Her posture looks good!
Setting the ball up!
After dinner, we gathered at the beach once again, the weather was perfect for a camp fire.
They had a surprise anniversary cake for us!
And songs too!
The whole village was here.
The kids favourite segment, roasting marshmallow!
The flame was a bit too strong, aided by the strong wind.
Her eyes were only on her marshmallow.
Pa had to roast on behalf of Archie.
Ending the night with a movie at the shack.
