Archie Turns 1!

6th March 2011! The day Archie turns 1!

As usual, he wakes up early like any other day. We left him in his playpen together with his birthday banner while we get ready to his birthday party venue.

He seemed pretty pleased with his banner.

Aunt Jen & Grand Aunt Marg came over to help us bring the party stuffs over, as well as babysit them.

Sarah was very busy, busy unwrapping and playing with Archie's present.

Aunt Jen got him a set of miniature automobiles.

After playing unwrapping his presents, we moved to the party venue, Stevo's.

Sarah was helping out with entertaining the guests.

We were ready.

The delicious salad bar, choice of caesar, egg & fruit salad.

Archie boy in his 2nd costume, a very boyish red & black stripe t, together with a 'cape'! Ahoy sailor!

The most popular guy at the party, the balloonist. The kids could not get enough of his creations, they kept going back, queueing up for more!

Finally, cake cutting time. Sarah & Brian were more excited than Archie, who was soundly asleep.

He was woken up for the cake cutting, hence the grouchiness.

The after party session, managed to lug the mountain of gifts home, thanks to the help of Aunt Jen, Hilda & Grand Aunt Marg.

Sarah again enjoying herself with the presents.

Archie had to open the rest of his presents in the security of his playpen so that his big sister could not snatch it away!

He is pleased with what he got.

Then we heard a bell,

I think she had a very enjoyable day, much more than her brother! haha.
