Fishing on the first day of 2011

Brought the kids to 仟湖 on new year's day, to see the fishes. Miss Sarah insisted on bring her hat along.
As soon as she stepped into the farm, she was captivated by the fishes swimming in the tank
So many different types of fishes in so many fish tanks!
Bedazzled.
$8800 for a poker dotted frying pan.
Papa had to hoist her up so that she could take a closer look inside one of the tanks.
She wanted to walk this way, instead of following us.
She got perturbed and started gesturing, in the end had to come forward to get her old man.
A very sweet smile!
Archie boy was admiring the fishes too.
Rows & rows of fish tanks.
Rainbow crab.
Sarah checking out the arrowana display.
The most expensive fish are all kept here.
Something cheaper, albino frogs, doesn't cost an arm or leg.
Super sized gold fish on display.
More gold fish.
She found her favourite animal at the farm, terrapin.
She squat right by the container for the longest time, every time another kid comes near, she would shoot daggers from her eyes.
Papa picked up one terrapin and put it on his palm, offering Sarah the chance to touch one.
She rather just see them from afar.
In another enclosure, there were giant catfish!
Each about a metre or so in length.
Archie boy eyes were wide open all the time, busy looking at look the fishes swimming.
We took a break at the cafe, however she did not get any ice cream, even though she looked like she longed for one.
We were about to leave for home, when we came about the fishing pond! We decided to let her have a try a Long Kang fishing.
She waited behind the big boys and girls while waiting for Papa to rent the fishing net.
Very patient indeed.
Finally! Papa came back with the misery small net and a container.
She was catching water with net ☺.
She decided that it was more fun directing Papa to catch rather than catching her own.
It's one tough job, the fishes were too fast and alert for the old man.
So he switched between ponds, hoping for better luck in finding dumber fishes.
And then there was one! ☺✌
Papa retired after watching a grand total of 1 fish and passed the baton net over to Mummy. The alert supervisor was constantly watching over Mummy's shoulder.
How stressful.
She got tired of supervising and went to skive at the play area.
In the end the parents caught 2 fish for their daughter, 1 each!
The kind staff at the counter threw in the rest of the fishes.
And thus Sarah got her first pets.
