Celebrated Ma's birthday at Cocotte.
Seated on the barber's chair, getting at shave first?
I've 'booked' the entire restaurant for her birthday, seemingly so, as we were the only customer on a lazy weekday afternoon. Some interesting books on sale from Books Actually.
The scholar.
Waiting for a close shave.
Love the french country theme of the restaurant, blends in with the industrial look of Wanderlust Hotel.
Our starter, pumpkin soup.
Bread and Butter.
Atlantic Cod for her.
Their signature, Poulet Roti, requires a 45 minutes preparation before the dish is served. Well worth the wait, best chicken I have tasted! The fragrance of the herbs and stuffings are all absorbed into the tender chicken meat!
Satisfied birthday girl!
The inside stuff!
My choice of dessert, Tarte Au Chocolate! Valrhona 85% Abinao chocolate tart. Served with chantilly cream Very rich!
Her choice, Lavender Orange Sorbet Ice Cream, looks great, tastes even better!
Happy Birthday Wifey!
