Stop and smell the flowers

In our highly urbanised country, it's so rare for the kids to find a wild flower blossoming in the field. Today we found one.
Stop from Jy on Vimeo.

Even something so natural is man-made, uniquely Singapore.
Enjoy watching the fishes swimming freely in the Kallang River.
They like to hold each other hands now, that's a good sign.
Her first encounter with mimosa.
The grass was a tad too long for their liking! They were jumping/hopping all over.

Kids @ Work 2012

The look of anticipation , in the lift while going up to Mama's office.
Big friendly Kor Kor, Justin.
The effervescent Sarah.
Let's start with art work.
Does not involve wagging of tongue.
He looks dashing in this photo.
Let's get cracking.
Someone is lost in her own world.
Maybe she was thinking of the concept for her next masterpiece.
Very serious artist.
Wow!
Now for a face tatoo.
A little butterfly this time.
There is always time for iPad.
Archie engaging in window crawling.
They were both so tired that they were fell asleep in their car seats while on the way home.

Kids Kampong with Archie

Archie's school excursion.
Although he looks kinda bored in this pic, it's his first school excursion and first ride on a big coach, he was quite excited.
We reached, the kids waiting rather impatiently to be released into the kampong!
We got the gear, where's the fish?
Busy scooping water.
He was more interested in getting the water into his pail than getting a fish.
First catch of the day! Caught by Ms Teng for him.
Tag team action.
Now for the rodent show!
Special seat.
Up close and personal.
Off to feed the animals.
It's chicken feed.
Then he summoned the koi.
Then he saw 'bunny'
A hungry boy.
