RLC Days - Mid Autumn festival celebration

They celebrated Archie's first day in RLC by having a lantern parade!
Our favourite teacher, 苏老师,guiding Sarah to make a moon cake.
She is a super teacher, full of energy and enthusiasm.

Archie's 1st day in RLC

He was supposed to go in one week earlier, but he fell sick upon hearing he was going to school.
Turned out that he was more independent that we thought. Not even a tinge of separation anxiety nor shed any tears when we left him, he does not love us!

Highlight of the day, he managed to stealthily steal a biscuit from Joel's lunch box.

The Chinese Garden Outing

Despite the cloudy gloomy weather, we decided to go ahead to the Chinese Garden for the lantern festival.
There was a on-off drizzle the whole evening, it stopped when we were trooping in.
Little Missy not in the best of mood.
Butterfly lanterns caught her eyes.
Still grouchy while we were catching the performance by artistes from China.
Then she took over the camera and started snapping away at the people around us, this sporting auntie even posed for her!
Bubbles is the way to a kid's heart.
Hello over pokeys, the ice breaker.
The beautiful dragon lanterns sitting on the lake.
The family!
The wishing tree, where you have to throw strings of coins at the tree, if it is caught by the branches then your wish will come true!
A packed Chinese garden, which is usually deserted. The evening was cut short due to the rain coming down on us.
