Pre Party Shopping

Prior to her birthday party, Mummy & Aunt Jen brought the birthday girl for a walk along Orchard Road.

She got to eat ice cream from Häagen-Dazs as part of her birthday treat.
Over the moon!
After ice cream, comes the toy. Taking the lift up to Toys R Us.
She found her Dora toys on the display rack.
Not forgetting her all time favourite, the purple dinosaur.
Good friends!
Role playing time, as a mother pushing the pram in the rain.
Hot wheels!
Attracting the attentions of the boys.
Throwing tantrum, a terrible phase that she is going through at the moment.

WOW 5 - The one about voodoo doll

Archie went all the way to the bus stop to send Sarah off to class.
Theme for the day, voodoo doll, clay doll.
Another lesson on clay, she is getting the hang on rolling the dough!
Future baker.
Not enough strength, thus reinforcement had to be called in.
Keep rolling.
Done!
After squashing it, it's time to poke it with scissors.
Poor clay!

Next phase, building the pedestal for the doll.
Quite good with the brush.
Time to glue the doll onto the stand.
Taking shape.
It's wearing a cloak, how stylish!
Hairstyling is part of the lesson.
Giving it the hair dryer treatment.
Doll moulded!
Now to add colours!
& cosmetics to the face.
Completion!

Her welcome door gift, a bag of popcorns!
Getting ready for her face painting.
Mama decided on a flower for her.
She managed to stay still throughout.
Taking shape.
Archie wants to have a go as well!
He actually managed to stay still, that is so unlike him.
He got a ladybug on his face!
Camera sensitive!
The completed face painting.
Next up, she tried to make finger puppet.
Getting some pointers.
The shape is out.

Her first finger puppet.
Now for another one.
A blue puppet this time.
She was quite pleased with her puppet.
Some shots of Archie boy with Mama.
We paid a visit to Chor chor at the Bright Hill Temple, after which we had lunch together.
Making contact with 'ET'?
