Changi Beach again

We enjoyed our previous trip there so much that we went back the following week again.

This time, we met with super high tide, that submerged the whole beach all the way to the grass verge. Hence the kids did not have much sand to play with. The water quality was not very good as well.
Archie crawling on the tiny remaining sand patch available.
He went in for a dip as well.
Sarah suffered anxiety attack whenever we let go of our hands, she was worried about falling into the water.
After a very short dip, we went to the bistro and got her, her first coconut.
After a few initial sips, she abandoned her coconut as she did not fancy the taste of it.
The short dip made them so tired! All knocked out before we reached home, we should do it every week!

Just Sarah

Some pics of Sarah.

Leaving the house for granny's.
 In a pretty good mood
With Archie & Pa
She is into wearing jacket these days, on hot sunny day, fully zipped up with hood on.

To the beach

Went to the beach on this lovely day, the sun was all out but the weather was fantastic due to the unusually strong sea breeze.
The kids are all ready!
Sarah having great fun cycling, a nice change from her usual neighbourhood cycling routine.
Out of steam already?
Brought Archie to meet the sea for the first time. He was skeptical, fist clenched yet curious, very him, the cautious little boy.
Sarah was enjoying the cool sea water rushing up her legs.
Archie was still trying to figure out what's going on.
His badly out of shape porcupine hair style.
Did not stay too long by the seaside as we did not brought out wet gears along. Sarah & Pa went cycling next, she was very excited to be on the bike and very bossy as well. She insisted that she be the one controlling the direction of the handle bar!
Archie enjoying his day out.
While Sarah & Pa were pedalling away, Arch accompanied Mummy to sit by the beach.
His eyes were closing.
Sarah & Pa popped by to say hi!
Archie continued his ship watching at a shady spot.
The breeze was still blowing strong!
After returning the bicycle, we went for some snacks and refreshment. Mum was in a good mood, so Sarah got ice cream!
While the rest of us watched...
Yummy....
Arch started practicing his crawling while waiting for Sarah to finish her ice cream.
Bottoms up!
Not a drop to waste!
Next up, crispy fried chicken, fresh from the kitchen!
She is eyeing it.
She couldn't wait, she insisted on holding the chicken even though it was still hot.
Playing with her chicken.

After the feasting, we let her cycle for a while more before heading home.
