Florence Pre Birthday Dinner

After botanical gardens, we went home so that sarah could get some sleep before the dinner outing. However, our active girl played the whole afternoon. She finally felt asleep while playing on mummy's lap, in a sitting up position at around 4pm.



mummy specially designed a new hairstyle for sarah for the occasion, we called it the 'shi xiong di' ten brothers look. i told her it reminded me of a pile of cow dung. haha.



our little princess was cranky upon entering the restaurant, refusing to sit still. she only kept quiet when she was carried outside. so everyone had to take turns to do babysitting duties throughout the dinner!


Little brian wasn't very pleased when he saw his mother carrying sarah, he shouted 'DONT WANT LAH' and shook his head profusely.



A kueh lapis birthday cake to suit the peranakan dinner setting. hehe.



Brian took many attempts to blow out the candle, as he is way too gentle! In the end, flo had to finish the job.

we had to cut the cake with a fork as it took forever for the staff to get a knife. service at ivins really has lots of rooms for improvement.
