Our First Wedding Anniversary!

19th July is our wedding anniversary! We celebrated by going on a day trip all over the island.

Our invited guest of honour, sarah yau, sitting graciously in her royal 'carriage'. Our first stop was to vivocity, our intention was to have lunch at marche and shop around for sarah.

The play fountain where we took the second picture is an 'amazing' place, lots of kids running around naked or in undies. one mother even use her son's wet undies to wipe his face. lol.

We bought this top for her at mothercare. she was sleeping soundly in her pram, but when we were putting the top on her to see if the colour suits her. she woke up and gave that look, as if telling us 'please buy for me'. when i said i think it doesnt suit her, she gave a frown and looks like she was going to cry. so i had no choice but to gallop off to the counter and pay for it!

we headed off to marche, but it was too crowded. so we decided to go for jap. on the way there we bumped into hiro and his folks!

both babies were sleeping soundly side by side while the parents were busy discussing the different ways of taking care of babies, on how irresponsible and unappreciative the husbands are...bla..bla..bla..then hiro woke up..he looked so cute in that picture with his eyes opened!

after we parted ways with the yeos, we went to have our lunch, at one of the japanese restaurant. wanted to try the wagyu ribeye steak, but it was 'out of stock' and had to settle for the wagyu tataya which was more like an appetisier dish, which i dont really like as the seasoning was so strong that it overwhelmed the taste of the beef. but flo enjoyed it, as she likes garlic and onions. the skewered grilled foie gras was very yummy though! sarah wasnt left out, she had her milk as we ate, as usual, after her food she gets all drowsy and sleepy!

our original plan was to head to east coast to laze by the beach after lunch, but the weather wasnt co-operating, the skies were overcast and it was drizzling on and off all afternoon. so we decided to stay at the mall. the aircon was getting cold for sarah, so we put on her woollen hat for her!

took some pictures with silly poses on the deck, who else but flo's idea.

those photos with us looking through the netting of the pram, were taken right outside the al fresco area of a busy coffee joint, people were staring at us doing the poses. i lamented that to flo that she could have chosen a more secluded spot rather then providing free entertainment to those caffeine addicts.

spending more time at the mall = spending more. flo ended up buying sarah her first soft toy, froggie the frog (what an original name!)

it was already 5plus, and we were getting bored with the place, having spent 5 over hours there. we headed to our next destination, t3, as i thought it would be a nice place to walk and push sarah around with its ultra wide walkways.

the place was boring and freaking cold, we left after a while. just a cold building with lots of glass window and walls.

our final destination was dinner at garuda (not the airline) to have indonesian food! (two thumbs up!). flo got to unwrap her present there, even though she already knew what it was, she has this bad habit of probing me about her present before she receives it.

the food was really good, save the grilled squid which wasnt it this photo, as i was too hungry to take photo!

on the way home, we discovered one of sarah's sock was missing, a slight blemish to this perfect, wonderful day.
