Sarah's First Swimming Lesson

After months of waiting, Mama finally managed to squeeze Sarah into a swimming class.

Sarah was very excited and put on her swimming costume two hours early, she was wearing her costume in the house and playing with Archie.

She's all ready to go! So is Archie! But sadly he did not get to come along as the weather was scorching.
Sarah was apprehensive at the beginning and she felt insecure as her feet  could not touch the ground, it was a much deeper pool compared to what she is used to.
She learned how to glide on the water, and later as she gained confidence, she was glided beneath the surface level.
An interesting part of the lesson, she was made to walk from end to end on the mat.
She had to hi five her instructor at the other end of the mat and then return to Daddy.
At the end of it, she had to take a plunge into the water. She had no confidence in jumping off the mat, Daddy had to hold her by her fingers to guide her off the mat.

The Andrew & Jac Rehearsal.

Went to Andrew & Jac's rehearsal for their big day at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The girls were excited by just being there.
And when they are excited, they need to take a lot of photos.

After the flower kids arrived, the practice for the march in began. Sarah was struck from the original list due to clash in schedule, she is due to perform in her school concert on at same day as the wedding. But she stood in today as, one of the flower girl as absent.

When they said go, she ran. How enthusiastic!
The kids were shy and reserved during the first march in practice as they only met for the first time, so the ice did not managed to melt in time.
Thankfully after two more practice, they were much better but Sarah still had difficulty keeping up with the tempo. Luckily she is not marching in for the actual day, otherwise the Bride would be under a lot of stress!

My birthday treat at 一風堂 (ippudo)

My surprise birthday treat by wifey at ippudo.
Never crossed my mind that she would choose this place to give me a treat as she is not a ramen person.

For once we looked carefree and relaxed in the photos, we left the kids at home and school for a short breather!

Wifey using her hi-tech iphone 4 to scan the fried chicken for cholestrol level and other undesirable content before consumption.

the star of the show, the ramen with wonderful stock.
 DIY garlic crusher.
Thanks for the wonderful day out!

Children's Day 2010

Children's Day 2010, the theme at the school was rainbow colour.
Being the ever sporting mother, Flo made sure that Sarah was dressed for the party.
Rainbow pants for the rainbow party.
The colourful balloons greeted Sarah when she reached the gates of the school, making her even more excited.
The principal was delighted to see the rainbow girl!
Doing the rainbow dance to send us off.
She was delighted with the paintwork on her face when I went to picked her up in the evening.
Mama's efforts did not go to waste, she won the best dressed! 明年该拿什么奖呢?

A.I.M - Arch in Motion

His crawling is getting better by the day, he gets from one end of the mat to other in a blink of the eye.
He is always smiling whenever he sees mummy, in the photo below he realised that mummy was calling out to him.
His new hobby is eating Thomas.
He has developed great upper body strength, he is able to push up his upper body and sustain the posture for a considerable period of time.
He is still a serious boy.
He got to try apple for the first time, he enjoyed sucking the juice out of the slice of apple given to him.
